RA 7160 Mandates Local Government Units to develop Local Enterprise. To improve productivity diversity, agriculture, spur rural industrialization and enhance the economic and social well-being of the people.

An office managing modern and viable public enterprises while maintaining a balance between profit maximization and providing delivery of basic services to the people of Wao. 

Mission:

To provide excellent service to all our customer at all times by hiring qualified employees, who possess positive work attitudes, using state-of-the-art facilities.

The MEEDO shall manage and supervise the following Economic Enterprise:

1. Municipal Slaughter House/Halal Abattoir
2. Public Market/Terminal
3. Gymnasium
4. Motorpool
5. Other Economic Enterprise activities existing or to be proposed in the future as deemed necessary by the Sangguniang Bayan.
